Default Exhaust manifold leak

My Brandie has developed an exhaust manifold gasket leak which is very annoying. This is usually only common with vehicles up north in the Snow Belt areas not in Georgia. So I'm thinking of upgrading to headers and a better exhaust system. Any suggestions on a good performance header and out there but not too expensive?
