I hear a knocking type noise coming from the bottom end of the engine. I don't think it's there all the time, but I've noticed it for a while. I took a little vid. I thought the hemi tick was a valve tick that is heard from the top end so I didn't think that was it. No codes and definitely no performance problems.

sounds like hemi tick, i hope because it sounds just like mine with 38,000 heard mine tonight still creeps me out.

 

Hemi tick....my 03 sounds exactly like this from underneath the truck.
Sounds terrible doesn't it.
Back in the day when manual valve lash adjustmentsd were oftern regularly needed, I'd have been all over this lol.

Hmm ok thanks guys. I've seen videos of supposed hemi ticks before, but it was from the top end and sounded more ticky and less knocky. I feel a little better now....back to the mods I guess
