Question Question for those who did E-fan conversion?

What type of sensor did you use for the thermostat? The screw in type(if so where does it go)? The one that goes thru the rad.? Or, the one that gets inserted in the hose?

Fin probe that came with my Flex-a-Lite kit. Installed in July of '05 and no problems yet...

Radiator probe. If the price isn't bad next time I want to try a sensor that taps into the heater core hoses so it is the coolant temp not the radiator (it's a bit delayed)

The radiator probe that came with the kit did not work for me. I bought the sensor that screws into the bung on the engine coolant outlet, and the fan has been keeping the temps spot-on at my setting ever since. Couldn't be happier.
