Default Door speaker

This is going to sound weird but my right door speaker never works. The only time it comes on is when the weather is hot.

I am getting new speakers today I just need to find out what size. You should pop the speaker out and inspect it. Thats odd it only works when its hot.

I have taken it out and inspected it. Every once in a while when it is hot out you will hear it crackling and then it will start working.

Could be the door wiring if its split. If its hot enough the wires might expand just enough to contact again.

On OEM's, I've had the tinsels come loose on two speakers right where they go into the spider. (makes for a quiet speaker...) Really good aftermarket speakers will use woven tinsels.

Its prob the wiring going to the speaker. Take the door panel off and check to make sure its all connected right.
