Default 4th Generation Wheels on 3rd Gen Truck

Hey guys. I swapped my old 2008 20's for a set of 2010's. I was wondering if anyone would know off hand if the offset/backspacing was different between the two sets. The 2010's seem to stick out a tiny bit more than the 2008's. I don't think this is a bad thing, but I was just curious.

They should be fine but if you start to see excessive wear or uneven wear take them off or if your truck shakes or drives funny, mainly any if the obvious things

You could also call local Dodge dealer and ask them

Nope, spacing is the exact same. I love my '11's.

2004-2008 wheels are 20x9 with +19mm backspacing
2009-2012 wheels are 20x9 with +19.05mm backspacing

That means they actually go in the wheel well further by .05mm...lol An unmeasurable distance.
They will fit just fine.

lol. and i thought they looked like they set outside of the well more than the 04-08's.

Thanks for the info guys. I like the 09-12 wheels much better now that they are on my truck.

If you're running a wider tire they may appear to have a wider stance. I like them, since I went to 24's I may look for some 4th gen wheels.

Time to beat a dead horse. Does anyone know the largest tire size I could fit on a stock but torsion leveled 05 ram 1500 with 4th gen wheels? I'm thinking 35x12.5r20 which I just had on there but with an aftermarket KMC wheel.
