A tip really won't do anything, headers and muffler and catalytic converter and the exhaust piping change your sound but mainly headers and muffleR, you can buy a nice mangaflows muffler for about $70 or so an it will change sound a lot, I have a flowmaster super 40 and I love it but it is chambered so not as free flowing as mangaflow but like I said if your going for just sound I love my flowmaster super 40, the super 40 has a deep tone to it, if you want a loud and a better flowing go with a cherry bomb extreme muffler they run about $65 or so...

If you wanna go cheap you could start by cutting the resonator off and see how you like that

You will need to swap out mufflers I would reccomend a cat-back system. I dropped in a dynomax race bullet in my HEMI and it is pretty loud. It sounds very mean but it just depends how loud you want it. A flowmaster is not quite as loud and usually sound very good.
