What maintenance have you done to your truck? changed spark plus and wires? Air filter? Fuel injection cleaner?

If you are driving with the AC on and its fine but then when you stop and sit and it quits then it is probably the condensor fan next to the radiator that is not working.

Have you had the transmission serviced? If you haven't check the transmission fluid level it might be low.

The delayed shift problem sounds like the transmission spin on filter. My 03 did the same thing with the original filter.
