For those of you who have this what psi do you use for daily driving to give the best ride and what is the max you can put it up to when pulling a trailer? Its on a 2004 ram 1500 4x4

Those look like what I have, either Arnott Brand or Hellwig Brand(same bags/hardware..etc) Hellwig just rebrands is all. The bags are rated at 5,000lbs.

I run 10lbs if I'm not carrying anything. Anything more than 10lbs and your *** end lifts up. At 20psi, it's up 1/2" and at 40psi it's up 3/4". The ride gets choppy in the rear anything over 20psi and empty.
Since the bags are hevily rated, when I had 1700lbs of wood in the bed, I was at 40psi of air and there was zero squat! Truck took turns like a champ on/off highways. The max pressure rating is 100psi, but there's no need to ever go above 50psi with your set-up. Other brands may be different? Towing a trailer, I usually have the bags at 20-25psi regardless of how much weightt is in the trailer(1200lbs-7000lbs) because there's only so much tongue weight anyways.

As for the lift options, you need to put spacer blocks under the bags...OR ditch the bags for a different brand. Airlift mount to the leaf springs and is not effected by a lift kit.

15psi gave about 3/4" on our 99 2500, but its typically got a full slip tank for diesel in it at the minimum. The ride improved after putting them in, it doesn't 'chop' so bad on the highway now.

Thanks for all the info. When i first got the truck empty it was sitting around 40 and the ride was very choppy, i pulled over and put them at 15 and it was alot better. This setup is nice to have but im not sure if im ever gonna pull anything with that load range. Ill keep them on and get blocks for when i put the lift on.

The minimum pressure at any given time is 5psi, but you cannot load anything in the bed with that little pressure.
You need some type of presure or the bags will get ruined. they bottom out internally. I run 10psi for safety sake because even a digital tire guage isn't that accurate at low pressures.

They are worth more on your truck than off. The replacement value is high and the resale value is low. Just an FYI.
