Just bought a '04 5.7 RCSB 4x4. I knew the shocks were garbage, and I just replaced them today, but these leaf springs look terrible. See how they curve down first and then up? Overload spring bent down, big gaps in between leafs, etc. Please tell me this isn't how they come stock.Name: photo.jpg

Mine are similar and are being helped by air bags. Aside of the rust, looks okay to me.

Also, yours are lifted so the added stress probably contributed to the bend you see in your springs.

The OL spring is suppose to be straight, not bent downward at all. The upper springs should have an even curve upwards and I see in the middle it bends the opposite way.
Hessain, your springs are wiped. You have either overloaded your bed with weight or had too much tongue weight pulling a trailer.

I dont see how putting the same size block as the axle under the spring effects anything but the ride height. The same amount of weight is still above the springs either way.

arienike, you have overloaded your truck as well. Your OL springs are bent downwards as well, but your upper springs are still in good shape. The airbags may have saved them just in time.

The Springs on my 2008 are all curved upwards. The OL springs are perfectly flat.
Not the best sideview pic, but gives an idea

Yeah, that's what I thought. As soon as I saw them I walked inside and ordered new ones. 298 shipped, not too bad. The truck has a trailer brake, so I know the guy was towing something...

Also, thanks for the fast response with pictures no less! You guys are awesome.

Interesting. I don't remember ever seeing my OL springs flat. Maybe they were flat at one time
