Default Question about wiring?

Ok so normally I'm really good with wiring and all, but I just have a quick question. Right now my set up is 2 100w KC lights on my grill guard wired in on a separate switch. I want to change them so that they come on with my high beams. Can I just splice into the high beam wire?

No. That means you'll be trying to pull all the juice from your highbeam wire. It cannot handle the additional 15A load your trying to pull from it. You need a Relay. A standard 4-pin Auto relay and hook it up as follows;
pin 30...fusable link(battery)
pin 87...highbeam wire(+)
pin 85...chassis ground(-)
pin 86...Grill Lights(+)

If all you can find is a 5-pin relay, that's fine, just leave 87a empty. 87a is "normally closed"(NC) so that will turn the lights on when the highbeam are off and off when highbeams are on. You don't want that. Most Car Audio shops have a million of these lying around for alarm installs. 30A or 40A will both work. That's the max rating they allow. Your only pulling half that current. Get a 40A if you ever plan on installing 2 more lights.
