Default Buying Used

I am buying a 2002 Ram 1500 SLT Standard Cab w/ short bed and there is no window sticker with it. There were so many combo's that came with this vehicle is there a way to find out what all the options were? Is there a way to get a copy of the window sticker?

Thanks

You can email the vin to Chrysler and they will send you info on the build sheet. Not sure if you have to be the current owner for that or not?

There are sites that also provide with more than just generic info, but not exactly if it were to be equip with LSD or have trailer tow package..etc

I think you do need to be current owner because when you send a request they want the name and address that is on the title, you might be able to call and just let then know u are thinking about buying the truck but need to know what all it has

You may also find some info by registering yourself and the vehicle on the owner's site:

Here in Jersey, I have found that most dealers will run you a build sheet while you wait. Tell them the "truth", you just "bought" the truck and you need it to assist in purchasing replacement parts and accessories. While I purchase a large part of my needs outside the dealer, it's good to build a relationship. May items are only oem anyway.
