Hey Guys,

I've got an 06 1500 I want to do an iPad install with.

I've planned a bit of it out and I know how I want the layout to look on the dash Bezel.

I do have a question,

In the Dash bezel there is the A/C controller. I want to move that down about 2 inches. Basically take out the small storage slot below it, and move the A/C unit to the bottom of the bezel.

I haven't torn into it yet to see what it looks like inside. I am assuming it wouldn't cause any problems, I may just need to splice the wiring cause it may not reach far enough to re-mount it.

I'm curious if anyone has done this?
I have done a few searches and haven't found anything.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Never moved the ac controls but the wires all come from behind that spot so you won't need to splice any wires. You should be good to go.

 

I wouldnt bother moving the controls. No need to from those Ive seen.
