Default Window motor problems

Idk if there is already a thread about this but I couldn't find one. My front passenger side window will go up but not down so I don't think it's really a motor issue but probably more of a wiring issue because it works fine if you use the passenger side controls. Anyone have any idea what I should do?

That's exactly backward from the usual problem. I'd look to the switch in the driver's door module. The switches get carbon build-up and corrosion. Could also be a bad connection at that switch.

I figured it was just the switch because all the rest look fine. Do you or anyone know how to remove the door panel without ripping any wires or which wire I should be looking for. I think it's just disconnected or something because I drove the truck to class and it worked and when I got in to go home it wasn't.

Door panels are pretty easy to remove. Its a couple screws, and a torx bolt on the interior door handle itself. Once the screws and handle are out it lifts straight up and off. There should be enough play in the wires to disconnect the window switch and the mirror switch.

What he said. Door panels are WAY easier to deal with than they were 30 years ago. Three minutes off, five minutes on.

Lol alright. I have the weekend off of work so tomorrow I'm going to go out and see if I can fix it.

If you feel like peeling off the plastic protective barrier to access the window motor, you can verify the wiring to test/check. You can apply 12v directly to the motor and switch leads for reverse operation. This will verify the motor works both ways. Then you can continue to take apart and clean the switch contacts.
If you leave your windows down or have left them don in a rain storm, it's highly likely your contacts are needing a cleaning. Hopefully the pcb strip isn't shorted out from too much moisture.

So I went out and took off the door panel and I didn't see anything wrong. Could it be a fuse? I took some pictures
