Nah the y pipe is b4 the cat. The y pipe goes right into the cat. I have nothing but straight pipe coming from tje cat to that huge factory muffler.

 

That's strange because that isn't right... Can you take some pictures and post em up?

 

I have had a magnaflow and flowmaster muffler with stock headers, y pipe and cat. Both sound great but magnaflow are less restrictive I think. I have a CAI along with a programmer too and noticed small mpg and power gains but for the money its not bad at all. I spent about 160 to have my magnaflow installed.

I have an 03 as well and my Y pipe goes directly into the cat also. I had to go make sure.

 

Urs is like that too right? Only one cat and its after the y pipe with only one muffler and no resonator right?

 

Correct. They must have changed the exhaust system a little when changed the front end. Seems like everyone saying Y pipe is after the cat has an 06 or newer. My buddies 05 has Y pipe then cats just like ours too.

So how did ramin it get that magnaflow on when it has a 30” body and stock ones are 24”?

 

Yeah sorry I meant cat not cats. And ramin has the 2500 Hemi. He might be able to fit a 30" muffler.
