Default This guy has a problem. Help needed...

Took the truck off roading yesterday and hit a pretty hard bump that I couldn't see as I tore through a decent size mud patch. I hit the bump hard enough that my serpentine belt came off (which I have never heard of happening before). I thought that was the only thing that happened until I woke up this morning and noticed a hose about 1/4 inch in diameter hanging from under the truck. On one end of the hose is a plastic screw that I am sure is mostly meant to just hold the hose in place. The hose in close to the body of the truck and above the drivetrain and exhaust system. I traced the hose back to it's other end and it was connected to a part of the vehicle I am unfamiliar with. The part it is connected to does say "Do not use impact wrench on fill or drain plugs." or something like that. Any idea as to what this is? The truck seems to be running just fine and I haven't noticed a difference in its drivability at all.

UPDATE: The hose is connected to the transfer case. So now what does the other end connect to? The end connected tot he transfer case is connect to a metal "L" looking connecter. The other end of the hose like i said has a plastic retaining screw type thing on it.

That seems to be the consensus. So where does it connect to? Last thing I want it is flopping around and getting wrapped around the drive train or something.

I dunno where they stick it in a Ram, but on my Jeep it was secured to the firewall with a screw behind the engine on the passenger side about halfway up...
