First of all thanks for the instructions on the fix. Worked in fairly short time. Yes, the flexible extension screw driver was another big save.

Can you bypass the heater core and still use the A/C? I need to wait to fix all the doors until i have the funds to get a new dash since mine will be destroyed when i go to take it out to change the doors and heater core

Fixed my brother's truck today; took less than an hour. Thanks for the post!

Default Clarification

My 2010 Ram is creating cold air but won't blow on any setting, or barely blows. Not even defrost. Tried heater. Same issue. Think it's still the flap causing the issue? I can hear the motor speed increase but little air flow.

Could be a blend door. Could also be a cabin filter if the newer trucks have them.

Hi Hockey momma,

Have you had a diagnostic performed on the vehicle to see what the problem may be?

The door has broken and fallen off. It is resting on top of your fan and blocking the airflow.

Default Still no resolution to AC vent issues

This is great info thank you! However...with the same symptoms....followed the precise pics and details...it was not the door. All the same symptoms all have summarized..but not the filter ( does not come equipped)..door is intact and actuates...blower in proper function. So...riddle me this...blows slightly....cold when set on AC...actuator door properly set and working...blower in full function.... But still...no resolution. Thoughts?

Drop the fan, and have a look inside. With no filter, it may just be a clogged up evap core.
