Welcome to the Site and I have to agree with Hammer on everything. Unfortunately we see quite a bit of it here when members come in for help.
To get a better understanding, we have a thread in our FAQ/How To section on how to do all of that. I don't expect you to do it but you can read everything and follow the pics to see all what needs to be done

I just had this exact thing taken care of on my 4.7 less than a year ago and it ran me about $1200 parts & labor and I was without my truck for a few days while it was getting done.. It's not an easy fix unfortunately.
