The second pic looks like the temp sensor that mounts by the drivers headlight. The third pic looks like the harness for the factory fog lights to plug into.

The first pic is unplugged of the 2nd pic if I understand correctly? That is your Ambient air temp sensor for your overhead readout. It should be mounted to the Driverside headlamp on the lower bolt that is located behind the grill when hood is down. If you take the bolt out and put it there, you'll see the indented outline. The plug would be situated ontop with the sensor pointing downward. It's suppose to catch fresh air outside the truck as your driving down the road and while idling rather than hot engine heat if left behinf the radiator.

The 3rd pic is of the factory foglight harness. If you have a 2002-2005 you have power and simply need to hook up your fogs to them and they will work. 2006-2008 needs the circuit to be turned on by a dealer for the circuit to work.

Perfect!! I had a feeling it was the harness for my fogs but when testing for power and ground i got nothing ( when the lights were turned on/off) When i do get my fogs will i have to buy a different switch as opposed to the one already in the truck or are they automatic like day time running lights?

Ok so this air temp sensor, if it were to just dangle or become to close to "Heat" would this affect throttle response, air intake or what not? I think i will mount it back were it goes lol.

Thank you guys very much for this, much appreciated!!!

Oh and yesw DirtyDog the first 2 pics are the same. With the cap out ( temp sensor)

You would have to see if your headlight switch pulls out. On our trucks, in order to turn the fogs on, you have to at least trun the parking lights on, then you pull on the switch to turn the fogs on. If your switch donesn't pull out, you will have to replace it with one that does.

Ahh cheers! I'll have to try that, if not...i'll just throw in another switch or run it with my day time lights. I'll look into that switch, im sure it's bloody expensive at the stealer-ship, but ebay may have one.

Part # 82209437 for OEM Fogs for trims that have the pre-wired setup.

Pic of how the ambient sensor should be installed.
