What oil to use?
It has a small tick to it. Dealer used 5W20 in it. Can I go with a 10W30?

Comments?

I use 5W30. Its whats on the fill cap and in the manual for the 03.. I also have the tick. The oil won't make it go completely away. I haven't chased my tick down yet.

This is the excerpt from the 2003 FSM:

Chrysler had all their dealers switch to 5W-20 across the board between 04 and 05 to standardize oil across the engine lines. The 5W-20 is especially important to the MDS hemi so that the solenoids work correctly. I would stick to what is called for (I use 5W-30 synthetic in mine).

Also for ticks, check the exh manifolds for cracks or broken/loose header bolts
