Default p0440 and p0456

Check engine light came back after less than a year (03 4wd 1500) and im believing that its gonne either be the NVLD pump or a combo of the gas cap and the NVLD pump..any input or opinios on this matter? Just got ride of the CEL on my durango by replacing the pump after getting p0440, p0441, and p0456...also replaced the gas cap with one from the dealer.

Those codes are evap codes, check your evap system for leaks. Sometimes a hose has gone bad, or a connection is lose ( sh*tty Chrysler hose clamps...) or yeah the gas cap could definitely be it. I thought it was more likely that the purge solenoid went bad or the hoses/gas cap than the pump so I would check those first, but I suppose it could be the pump too. Seems like youre on the right track though, good luck.

Sounds good. I think ill go the cheaper route first and change the cap and check all the hoses again. Had to replace one last year as well as the gas cap and the codes disappeared. May just be that i got a low quality gas cap...should get on from he dealer like i did for my durango.
