Default need help with timing chains

Ive got an 05 dodge ram with a 4.7 and I recently had to put a head on it. Everything went smooth untill I went to re-time it. I followed the Haynes manual and I can't seem to get the secondary chains to stay timed. The primary is good but the secondary's jump time somehow. Does anybody have any sugestions or thoughts on what the problem could be?

thanks for the link. i'll shed some more info in the problem. i had a cam break in half and had to buy a head. i made them mistake of not researching the motor before i pulled the cam out so i had to pul the front cover and retime everything. (i didnt know about the wedges. ) i have since pulled and re-assembled everything and the primary chain is good but the secondary chains seem to be jumping at least 2 links after 4 revolutions. when i reassembled everything i made sure it was all corect according to the haynes manuel, but i'm stumped because i have'nt seen or heard the secondarys jump time but they are. are there any tips, tricks or steps im forgetting or over looking ?
