Default Can I use 75w90 in my rear axle and be safe?

Hey guys, I am needing to change the fluids in my front and rear differentials. I have a 04 hemi 1500. I drive the truck like a car basically. I never pull a trailer or anything. I have an OPEN rear differential not the LSD. I have read that if I used the truck for pulling heavy trailers and what not I would need to use 75w140 in the rear and 75w90 in the front dif. I was wondering if 75w90 synthetic in both the front and rear would be fine since I do not haul a trailer or anything.
