Default tow hooks?

i'm wanting some tow hooks for my '04, i don't like the factory ones, i don't think they stick out far enough. has anyone seen any aftermarket that stick out a little farther?

I agree about the stock hooks. I've been looking for some for a while. Nothing is made. I have a set of Superduty hooks I was hoping to modify but I don't have enough power in my welder.

If you find something, keep us updated and I'll do the same.

Why is it that you think they don't stick out far enough? They take a tow strap perfectly.
Just curious as to what exactly the problem is.

How about a front hitch/receiver as an alternative? There are numerous attachments you can use with it that will stick past the front bumper.

the stock tow hooks look like you may do some bumper damage if you pull from the side (Murphy's law says i will). the receiver on the front--i don't want to pay that much, but yes, it is an option if no other tow hooks are available
