Gas Prices in your area.
Its 2.60 in S.A. but in South Texas it went up from 2.40 something to 3.10 overnight. Everyone should pump while it is still cheap, hopefully it does not last long at 3 something, its f***king crazy.
This afternoon in Paducah, Kentucky I was pumping 89 octane at Wal-Mart at $2.81 a gallon with the 3 cent shopping card discount. By the time I finished my fillup the price had jumped to over $3 a gallon. I'm glad I pulled up to the pump when I did! I'll bet the guy in line behind me was mad! What boggles my mind is how the price can be raised like that for gas that has already been in the ground for a couple of days. I wonder if prices on other consumer items can change in the same way? For example, if a shortage of milk is expected do the grocery stores raise the price of the milk already in their dairy case? What a rip-off! [:@]
Man oh man, yesterday in NorthEast Ohio I was able to get 87 gas for $2.31, but in just one day it went up to $3.19 a gallon for 87.
I am really torn what to do. Just got the truck a month ago.....but do I just cut bait now and get a vehicle that achieves twice the gas mileage?
I dunno, but around here, they are saying $4.00 a gallon is just right around the corner. I refuse to spend $100 to fill up.
It's a real bummer, the last week or so it had been dropping and was getting closer to the $2.00/gallon mark. Now they say we will never see that again.

Here in Manhattan Ks it just hit 2.99 but i called my parents and they said it was going to 3.10 at 9:00 tommorrow morning by the way they own a couple of gas stations so i know when gas is going up it helps alot.
I just paid $2.75 gallon for 87 here in SE CT although the prices are fluctuating between $2.65 and $3.09 for 87 in my home town. I expect it to be worse tomorrow morning. Thanks goodness my commute to work is only a couple of miles each way.
Florida's prices have gone up some, but not as drastically as everyone elses. I'll check it when I go to class today. Florida also has anti-gouging laws that limit the amount someone can jack up the prices of something, particularly during Hurricane time.
