valve seats broke
hello every one my valve seats broke 2 days after replacing the number 1 calender spring i now am looking at replaceing some pistons rings and valves (sucks) but if i have to replace things of this nature im hoping to upgrade as much as i can to get more hp and maybe better fuel economy im looking for options on parts to get

Pick a good shop to re-man your head(s). I had the seat on cylinder 2 go in the 4.7 in my Grand Cherokee, had over 40 hours in the rebuild, not to mention about $2000 and within 100 miles of buttoning it up, a brand new valve the shop put in cylinder 7 broke clean in half - TODAY! Now I gotta take the head back off and see what damage it caused.
At least pushrod heads won't take you the 8 hours it'll take me to get this head off...

It failed because the POS shop I had rebuild and certify my heads, Fu(ked up royally:

I bought a full overhaul kit from Rock Auto was very pleased with the components, but I'll bet this damn shop I used for the head work will try to blame the re-build kit even though it's clear a valve broke barely 100 miles after they re-manned it...
