Default 315/70/17? Asap

hey everyone,

I own a 2007 ram 1500 4x4 with a 2.5 level kit from top gun customz. very soon i will be buying new tires since the ones currently are in need of replacing. I have cragar wheels 17" that i believe are 4.5 back space and 0mm offset. my question is will these tires fit? any help as soon as possible will be great. thanks.

It took 2.5" to level your truck?

Can't say if your 315's will fit. I'm getting 305/17/70's installed tomorrow and am putting them on 17's with -12mm offset. I probably wouldn't try the 315's myself unless my tire dealer would mount one up and stick it on to see how it fits and then go to plan B if it doesn't.

I think you should be good with the 315's and your leveling.
04HemiGreg- what tires are you getting in 305/17/70's ? thats what I was thinking about stepping up to next.

I am getting Nitto Terra Grapplers. Dealer tried to talk me into Duratracs but they dont come in 305 and are more expensive. Actually, I am sitting at the tire shop right now waiting on them to finish. Will post a pic thread tonight or tomorrow in the gen discussion forum. I am excited to see how they ride. My son is excited to see how they look. The blackout look isnt really my thing but it has grown on me since i started looking into options and seeing pics on here. It will be his rig soon, so as long as he is happy with it, its fine.

Was thinking about getting larger tires than the 17" stocks that are on my truck now. How do you adjust the speed odometer when going with larger tires?

To adjust the speedo, get yourself a programmer, SuperChips, Diablo etc... It will also give you a little more power. Folks around here seem to like the SuperChips with the tranny option.
