When running the a/c in either recirc or outside air positions, there's no difference in the amount of air flow or temp. The temp seems to be at an acceptable degree, but just not enough to cool the cab down no matter what level I place the blower level at. Should I just pay the $10 for a diagnostic check or is something else the culprit?

Could simply be low on charge.

 

the recirculation/blend-air door could be broken its a pretty common issue on those trucks.

 

Is that pretty easy to check? I have manuals on all my vehicles except this one (go figure!) and plan on having one by the weeks end.

 

A/C check complete. No issues other than previously discussed. Now it's either the blend air door or someone mentioned to me a vacuum line.. I have a manual and have seen a video on YouTube about the blend air door. That does not look like an easy task! Any other words of advice from the forum?
