I have a leveling kit but front end dropped!
Hey guys I have a ProRyde "duckhead" Torsion bar key lift in my 2003 Ram 1500 quad cab. I have been driving it with the lift in it since about February. About 2 weeks ago i was driving my truck and it seems that my front end has went back down to stock height again. I called ProRyde and they told me it could be my Torsion bars weakening. Brought it to Tire Proz also looked at it and said the same thing. Im wondering if you guys had any advise for me because this could cost upwards of a thousand bucks to replace the torsion bars.

It usually takes a LOT of abuse to bend a torsion bar, seen it happen but it's rare. I got a buddy with a '98 Z71 who just replaced his last year BUT he owns a landscape business and has been towing WAY over capacity for a half ton truck almost daily about since the truck was new. He also has had a torsion key level kit but also a body lift.
I know cranking the stock keys or adding a level kit adds a good bit of stress on the torsion bars to achieve lift height so I suppose it's possible yours are bent.
BTW - I don't know where you were quoted $1000, he paid about $120 a piece for his (I can't remember where but it was either Summit, Whitney or Rock Auto) and I helped him install them in his driveway, took us about an hour to do both sides - it helps to soak the **** out of the key bolts with a good lube the night before...

Thanks ill check more into the price thats what the lift company and tire proz said for a rounded price. but as you said he worked that truck pretty hard for the life of the truck. My truck hasn't been hardly worked, i have a light plow for it but that got on late last winter and we never got snow so its been hooked to the truck like twice. don't think that would do it. I just cant believe its the torsion bars because the truck hasn't hardly worked a day of its life. I thought maybe the shocks due to the fact that I never got a set of +2" shocks. But it rides fine so that cant be it. thanks again
