If you really still want the spare with you then re-route the pipes or wrap them in heat wrap so they don't melt the tire. If you can do without the tire then ditch it and buy a couple cans of fix a flat and keep a bike pump with you

The LMC catalog( I am sure other places have them too) has an inexpensive tire holder that mounts in the back of the bed.I can't speak personally about it's useage, but looks like it could be a solution.

Why did they not route it around the spare? I have duals, and it goes around the spare. Might have to put it in the bed.

I bought a dual exit catback that has both exits on the same side because of the spare tire issue. Stilll had issues with one of the pipes melting my spare though. I recently had it fixed so that one pipe now exits the other side, and still have room for my spare. Took an hour and cost $100. So, you can have dual rear exits and still keep the spare where it belongs.
