Default 2006 4.7 Overheating

Ok so last summer my water pump self destructed literally. The shaft snapped in half and in no time I also lost the right bank head. I replaced the water pump before finding out about the lifetime limited power train warranty. I did get the head replaced under it. So now recently it is running warm while driving interstate speeds. I replaced the thermostat and that has not fixed it... I read that this could be the hoses, but how do I check the hoses or is it just replace them and see if it fixes it. I'm guessing my next step is change hoses and flush and fill? Maybe also switch to a 180 stat? Is there one made for the truck yet? or still mod one to make it work?
