Hey guys I am new here so I will start by saying hello.
So my problem is I am trying to install a used ecm into a vehicle that doesn't have the same transmission. Now I have a DRBIII and tech authority but what I have not been able to do is change the actual internal ecm part number or "erase" all the current flash files in the computer in order to install the ones I want. Is there any way to either erase the computer and start over, or force the flash to take place?
I am doing this on a dodge cummins ecm.

 

The ECU/PCM doesnt get programmed with a StarScan or DRBIII. Its a bit more complicated than that. With that being said, check your PMs.
