Default new guy here with an aftermarket radio problem

2004 ram hemi sport 4 speaker sound system.

Alright guys this will be a bit long winded but here it goes:

I installed a sony cd player into my pickup about a year ago. it seams that when i turn the volume up to far the radio will just shut off and turn itsself back on. while its trying to turn back on i turn the volume down and once it hits a spot it likes the radio stays on. I thought this was a problem with that radio so i replaced it with a new sony deck and it still does the same thing. i double checked all the wireing i did, i used a wireing harness adaptor so i didnt cut any factory wires. So i figured that it is something with the pickup and not with the radio. this morning i went to try a different wireing harness adaptor and when i hooked that up my interior lights shut off and didnt come back on. ( i had the door open) i thought that was a little weird. after that happened the new sony deck didnt turn back on. i put in the factory deck and that wouldnt turn on. i started the pickup just to see if it started and ran fine which it did but the factory deck didnt turn back on untill i pulled the radio fuse and put it back in.

so guys.. what causes all my problems and how can i fix it?
also... how do i take the radio fuse completely out of that weird holder, i couldnt figure it out. i was just able to lift it so it lost connection.

Thanks for your time and help!!!
