Dude...

Soundstorm amps are garbage.(Garbage with a capital "G")......is it at all possible that the interference is based on poor quality of the amp?

Im not saying this to be a *****....but in all honesty c'mon....were talking about an amp that is about 300 bucks cheaper than the average competitor for the same output. Its cheap stuff. I wouldnt even waste my time installing that thing. Spend a couple hundred bucks and get at least a sony xplod amp...they are relatively cheaper than infinity and alpine etc...and they have pretty good quality.

I have a rockford fosgate amp with no problems whatsoever.

Go to your nearest audio dealer/installer unhook it tell them you just bought the truck and ask them to install your amp if everything is wired it should only cost about 20bucks when they hook it up they will sound test it if there is a problem they will track it down and fix it. It is most likly in your wiring. I bet you could walk out of there with the problem fixex for under 50 bucks.

Want a cheap easy way to figure out your problem? Ground it to something you KNOW is 100% grounded.....if the problem goes away....then you know what the issue is....

If it doesnt go away, then I suggest you take 02raminators advice and seek a professional's help. They can easily track down the issue faster then you can. I dont know that it will only cost $20....more like $50.....but each state/place you go is different...
