cam swap?

Ok so i've asked it before on here a while ago but its time to get serious and do this swap! I really want a nice muscle car sounding lope. I've been youtubing it alot lately and listening to different trucks on there with different cams and so far I think I really like the way the Spartan Max cam sounds. Any suggestions or comments on this? Also it looks as if I will only need the 6.1L pushrods and valve springs to do the swap and of course a custom tune. Is this correct?

Yeah I've heard the ram hemi's on youtube with guys doing the 6.1L cam swap and it really does'nt sound much different to me. I'm going for a little bit more loping sound. I already have a superchips cortex programmer on it and a k&n intake and i have my cats deleted. I know I will need to run headers and I'm not sure but I don't think I can custom tune it with the superchips. Sounds like a waste of $380 I know. lol

Also do you guys know anything about the remote starts for these trucks? I picked up a universal one off of craigslist a few weeks ago and spent a whole weekend trying to install and no luck. Got the lights to flasg 3 times and that was it lol. I have the 04 hemi qc that doesnt have all the bells and whistles at all. No alarm, no power windows or locks so i assumed it would be a quick and simple install but guess I was wrong. Any pointers you guys could give me on how to make this thing work? Thanks alot!

This is my cam in the video. It is the KRC210 and I have the 210X right now out in the shop waiting to go in. The KRC210 has a LSA of 110 whereas the 210X has it at 108. That means more lope basically. But to do a cam like that or ANY cam with less than 114LSA, you need a few things.
1) 16 6.1 exh springs
2) 8 int/8 exh 6.1 push rods
3) new cam and crank bolt
4) AFR setup like the Innovate LC-1
5) Diablo or SCT tuner
6) custom tuning
A Superchips will NOT work.

You would need all of that plus a valve spring tool (Miller or custom), a damper puller, 2 changes of oil and 2 filters, 1 qrt of ATF4, a 3/8 fuel disconnect tool, if you pull the heads you need new head gaskets and bolts. Depending on how to take the exh loose, you might need new exh gaskets. You need coolant and anything else you might need to replace like plugs, wires, hoses, belt, ect
