Default 2 wheel/4 wheel rear end fit?

will a 9.25 with 3.92 out of a 03 2 wheel drive ram , interchange with a 04 3.92 4 wheel drive ram?
can the lsd components be removed out of my 9.25 , and made to be open?
thank you for any help!

I don't see why not since they are the same rear end. Just check the driveshaft since 2WD and 4x4 have different ones. Why would you want an open diff though?

Aftermarket LSD? A 4x4 with an open diff is like having a peg leg and a prosthetic arm. It'll do the job but it's not practical

I think you can remove the clutch retainer clips out of the stocker lsd and be good.
