Was checking out why my rear left backup bulb was out in the taillight and found out that the socket that holds the bulb is broken. Half of the plastic holder clip is broken as well as all the metal clips that it makes its connection with.

Can you just buy this piece separate or does it come with a new taillight?




Here you can see the center one that has its prongs and both plastic clips, and the reverse light one thats broken.

Ended up just picking it up at the local auto zone, it was like 19.99.

 

$12 on RockAuto.

$15.07 on Amazon free 2 day shipping with amazon prime.

 

Id have to pay shipping for rockauto and while amazon would be a few bucks cheaper, eh its not a big deal.

I like to help local businesses if I can and next time I am able to get 20 bucks free because this time was the 5th time I used my card and over 20 bucks there. So the few bucks is fine to me.
