10kmi front diff change
I don't really understand why there was so much moisture in your front diff. Do you go in and out of a heated garage for parking?
The idea of brake clean is that it evaporates...I wouldn't spray directly into the bearings, as its good to leave oil in them.

While even brake cleaner eveaporates, it can still remain in the oil and contaminate it. I would reccomend spraying the fluid on a rag and using the rag to wipe out the inside. This way it doesn't get all over and your in control.
I just wiped the bottom out. I did not wipe down any of the components like cages on the bearings, ring gear, carrier because the sludge stuff was all at the bottom luckily. I got most of it out anyway. Some stays in the axle shafts but that's to be expected unles you pull out the axles....pffft, I aint that crazy.
