Interior Light Switch

I did a search on this and didn't find anything. I have an 02 SLT Sport. The interior lights won't come on and the door ajar warning is on for the left rear door. Where is the switch that triggers this? On other makes I've seen it as a plunger switch. Is it in the latch?
