TCI Street Fighter
Part # 142200
Cost about $500 for the torque converter. Thought he was a little pricey, but he promised me it is worth it. I trust his decision. I've known him for over 20 years.

Did you ever discover the source of this noise? It resembles the noise I am hearing from my 06 5.7 hemi. I hope its not a rod knock, I just financed this thing about a month ago

My '04 ticked from the test drive up until I sold it 11 1/2 years later. Always ran like a top...

Default Not a hemi tick if we experience this w a unleaded 5.9

Mine I just got. 5.9 v8 magnum (3/4 ton) makes a noise like metal lightly grinding when I give it a little gas. Doesnt matter what gear or in park. all Heat shields are tight. ive read somewhere people saying the timing chain was dragging (stretched from heat) , I'm thinking it's that or the torque converter.
