Keep in mind if you do swap sensors, you will still have to complete a drive cycle before going in for another inspection. If it were my truck, I'd try to find the correct drive cycle steps, follow them, and then only change sensors if they still show inc.

post the inspection report they should have given you, it will tell you which sensors didn't pass the readiness test.

In most states, any car beyond 2001 will fail if 2 or more sensors fail the readiness check.

The drive cycle is not as simple as "drive x number of miles". I wish it was. I think the thought process is "drive x miles and the cycle is likely to complete somewhere within there". But if you look at drive cycles that are available online, you can see that they involve different speed ranges and driving conditions. So, while one person may drive 100 miles of varied conditions and get it to complete, another may drive 300 miles down the interstate at 70mph and not get a completed cycle.

Im glad we dont have those inspections here.

I replaced all my O2s some time back. Not because they failed or a CEL but because of age more than mileage. Im only now flipping 86k on my 04

But I bought the $25 Bosch sensors from AutoZone and they worked fine. I still dont have any CELs or any issues.

Same thing happened to me at DEQ. I got a "not ready" on the catalyst. They told me their computer was reading my Cat. I recently disconnected the battery because my CEL was on. I did the turn the key on and off trick and got 2 codes, P0440 and P0441. When I disconnected my battery my CEL went off. I drove around both city and highway for about 50 mile total before going to DEQ. Any thoughts??

Oh sorry. It's a 2003 Durango 4x4 no mods. And in my post it should have read - "the computer did NOT recognize my catalyst". I understand now that I must not have completed the drive cycle. Now a few days later the CEL is back on. It's throwing codes: P0440 & P0441. After some research, I believe it will be the hoses just in front of the gas tank or right next to the battery. If anyone has had these codes before and can throw some info my way, it would be much appreciated. Thanks all!
