hesitation problems

Default hesitation problems

i have a 03 dodge ram 2500 with a 5.7 hemi has a hesitation when gassing it got better when i cleaned the throttle body then came back did this twice both times it got better and came back also changed map sensor there is not a check engine light on please help

Start with a tune-up spark plugs etc etc.
Re grounding your TB would help
you dont have a egr so check the pvc make sure thats clean and moving.
No codes? But you changed the MAP..... you might as well just change the o2 sensors too if you are over 100k(Im not saying they are the problem but since you put one sensor on might as well do another).

originaly i had po 113 so i did map sensor but didnt make a differance and light never came back on

Well the P0113 is the IAT code not the MAP sensor.

Inlet air temp. Located in the tube going from your air box to the throttle body. Agreed on tune-up. Run some sea foam in a full tank of fuel, will clean up the injectors.

The PCM uses it for fuel management. It can take or add fuel depending on what temp it sees.
