its always at 1200 till it warms up. it has the jet chip but i took that out because i thought that could be the problem. also, not trying to get off subject but does anyone else with the K&N CAI think that it is extremely loud

CAI add alot of extra noise

The extra power you gain with a CAI is what is being used to make the stock intake quieter. The stock "hat" makes the air go in circles, making it harder for the engine to breathe...
