Default 4.7 worth saving?

Alright so i have a 2007 ram, couple years left on payments it has the 4.7flex, 4x4-4door SXT. Its been good to me since i bought it however just recently my radiator cap came lose and dumped all the fluid causing the truck to overheat and now the head gasket on the left side is leaking coolant into cylinders 3/5. Nothing fast, just a very slow leak. So when we pressure tested coolant system it was good but after 10-15mins it dropped 5lbs so we knew it had a leak. So we pulled cylinder 3/5 spark plugs and pressure tested the chamber, and what do you know, air comes blowing out the radiator. We bought this gasket sealer stuff from into called Blue Devil, blasted stuff was 64 bucks! but my buddy used it in a friends semi and it worked great! So we shall see if this slows/temp stops the problem. So the big question, what are yalls thoughts on replacing the one side head gasket, and saving the 4.7 with fixing the heads/replacing them if needed OR buy a crate 5.7 hemi to replace. I hear the 5.7 will bolt up to the transmission and all i would need is a new wire harness? thoughts anyone? im trying to keep this at like 500 bucks for fixing, but if i gotta spend thousands may as well upgrade right?

I have a certified Chrysler tech for a friend and hes been helping me with the truck so far, so we can do alot of the work ourselves.

The only way you keep it under 500 is you pull the heads yourself and do the work, good luck finding a 5.7 with out 300,000 miles on it for under 1000.

If it's simply the head gasket - then parts cost is VERY minimal. The b*tch is the labor involved in getting the head(s) off of this 4.7 OHC engine. EVERYTHING has to come off to get to the bottom of the heads.

If you have the experienced labor at your disposal and don't have to pay crazy labor rates (it took me 10 hours to remove the heads on the 4.7 that was in my old Grand Cherokee) then just replace the head gaskets...
