Default Program question

I have a dioblo sport programmer from an 04 mustang and i was wondering if there was a way that yall know...if i could like update it to work on my truck (04 dodge ram 5.7) just was gunna see if it was cheaper than buying a whole new programmer

I would imagine since the tuners share the same basic physical parts that Diablo could erase the Mustang tuning and either burn in or replace the PROM with their Ram tune, but it would come down to A) if they are even willing to do this and B) what they would charge if they are willing.

In a nutshell, without going thru Diablo this is not possible. Besides, the Diablo tune for the '04 PCM Ram truck is woefully unsupported by them. It falls WAY SHORT of the canned tunes on the Superchips for this year model. No tranny support for Diablo on the '04s which Superchips has done and done very well for this model year. Newer models that Diablo has chosen to support is another story, but not your '04.

Unless you need custom tune capabilities, and you want a tuner for your truck, buy a Superchips for your year model.
