Default front end wobble when hitting the brakes

i have an 06 1500 thats leveled up front with 5100's. When on the highway (55-70 mph) and i hit the brakes, sometimes the front end will wobble and shake till i let off the brakes and hit them again. only happens every once in a while...any ideas here?

Well originally I would've thought that it might be a warped rotor but since it's intermittent that doesn't seem as likely. Have the brakes been bleed? There may not be equal pressure in the caliper that push the pistons that push the pads against the rotor. Or maybe it's just time to get new brake pads.
Those are a couple ideas that just came to mind right now, hopefully that can at least give you a point to start your diagnosis.

I had it on my truck once.. turns out the ball joints and rack were about to let loose.. when there is play in the rack and you brake, you get a redistribution of weight which creates that jive.. not saying definitively that's what it is, but it could be..

I would have brakes checked, rotors turned. Make sure they really look at your front inside pads. I had brakes checked, said they were fine. Couple months later at another tire dealer, checked again, pads on inside front worn out. So the first place just looked at outside pads and assumed inside ones were the same. Pads changed, rotors turned, problem solved.

Jack the wheel off the ground, use jack stand. Grab wheel and push pull on it all directions, check for any slight unusual movement. Also visually inspect them. I had mine replaced at 48k because the rubber boots torn or cracked. Replaced with good quality greaseable ones. Moog I think or made by moog.
