i'm looking to replace my tires and i see that there is a guy locally selling his OEMs on craigslist. here is the description:

20 inch oem dodge rims with tire sensors..Tires are Pirelli Scorpion 275 55 20 which would pass inspecion... (30K miles)

i have an 05 quad cab 4x4 with the 20" oem rims with cooper zeon 275/60 R20 with >50k miles. would this be an ok idea to replace what i have with the rims & tires from the 08? any fitment/performance issues to be concerned about? I looked at the tire calc & see that my speedo will be off by ~3% should i just replace the coopers and stay with the original rims?

At first you said you are wanting to replace just your tires, and in the last paragraph you stated you want to change out rims and tires. Either way it will all fit. But what are you looking to do with the Zeons???

 

i've been looking to just replace the tires but i saw the rims & tires on craigslist for less than what the new set of coopers (AT3s) would cost...was just wondering if this would work out for me or if i should just go with the new set of tires. i'm leaning towards getting the new set of coopers, probably the AT3s. i can get a new set delivered & installed for about 850

Wheels from 2002-2008 are identical.
Wheels from 2009-2012 will also fit your truck. Very Minimal difference. Talking .05mm difference the size of a human hair..lol

 

What are you trying to do with your old Coopers???

 

you wont be disappointed with at3 i have them they are a great tire
