Default GF Performance Chip

There was an ad on Dodge Forums main page at the top that linked me to this chip:

http://www.gfchips.com/dodgeram1500.aspx

I guess my question is, for that price, is it too good to be true? Or has someone had any experience with this chip or company? Thanks.

And I see they have "gain up to 60hp" near the top of the page. But that info seems to be the same across all the cars they make the chip for, so who knows what it does to the Hemi?

Ads are sold to whoever will pay the price. Do a search both here and on Google for reviews of this chip, then decide...

Anything that claims itself as a "chip" I wouldn't trust. Especially when it says you'll gain 60 hp and like 4 mpgs

Tons of threads on here about that crap. Bottom line, only buy if you like giving away money.

If that chip was so good and give all that great HP and MPG, you would not see ANYONE here complaining about MPGs. Get it?

You want to program your engine, not trick your PCM into thinking that you have colder air coming in.
60+ HP for that cheap tells you right there that they are on crack

Build your own power wire if you want to try it
