2003 Ram "Check Gauges" light
I have an '03 Ram, Quad Cab 4x4 with the 4.7L V-8. Whenever I come to a stop, my "Check Gauges" light comes on, the alarm bell rings, and my temperature and oil pressure gauges drop down to zero, then about 2 seconds later they come back on. This happens constantly. I thought maybe I had a bad relay, but there is nothing in the fuse box marked "Gauges". Can anybody give me some insight as to why this is happening and how I can fix it? It's getting real annoying! Lol.

Apparently you havent been on here much, we tend to treat each other with respect. Your trying to get help, either listen or dont ask. No one says you have to do what he says, but then again no one has to help you...

I would lean more towards acting like an *** hat isn't gaining you any respect and therefor no one wants to help you, and for just reasons with the bs you are typing.
A sending unit is a viable suggestion, as that is what tells the gauge what to display. Unlikely as it may be that two are going bad simultaneously, it is still a valid suggestion. When you stop or are at low RPM's the oil pressure drops. If your pump is failing it can cause this, or low on oil, or the sensor (AKA sending unit).
Do you have the codes? I know us idiots here and our guesses couldn't possibly think of an error code, but someone with your intellect surely has, and possibly just overlooked posting them for further assistance?
