Not all codes show up with a check engine light. I like RockAuto too but have been beating their price at Advance. I use their coupons, order online, and pick up the parts same day at my local store.

 

Your right having them there that day is better, and yeah here lately ive been giving my discounts to people that are going to order off Rockauto.


I have never seen a code that hasnt been pulled By either doing the "Key Trick"
Or the C code trick. Never.
But i have had codes that threw no CEL and i did the "Key Trick" and they popped up but i have yet to pull a code that a CEL scanner couldnt.
And i dont have a "Cheap" Scanner either as a matter of fact I pulled codes from my Nissan that Oreillys and Autozone couldnt
