tranny temp sensor

I started getting trouble codes p0700 (tranny control) followed by p0714 (tranny temp sensor inttermittent) on my 05 5.7 Ram. The shop manual doesn't say anything about the tranny temp sensor and found nothing helpful searching. I would be thankful for any help I can get.
